action girl[y]

hellooo!

i went to OU with my ladies tuhday.
actually, we planned (okay more like i insisted that we go) to go for the opening of Forever 21. but we also decided to watch a movie and we watched X-Men 3! :D

i love that show.

also, i've just finished reading Where Rainbows End by Cecilia Ahern for the second time and i absolutely love the book.

so in todays entry, i will be talking about one cool show and one great read.
if you don't wanna hear the contents or anything that has to do with X3 because you wanna watch it, then i suggest you don't read the text in blue-ish purple. :)

okay, i loved X-Men 3. i don't agree with all these mutant-nie nonsense but it's a nice show, as i used to watch the cartoons of that comic.
i'm kinda irritated at the fact that Cyclops died without doing some sort of heroic act (c'mon la, he's supposed to be the leader!) and that Rogue is some little girl who's not like the comic character at all except for the little white streak of hair. *rolls eyes*

that said, i still like the movie. :) it was really good. even if 3 main characters die. -_-
well, it's not like i really liked any of those 3, anyway.
when Iceman was battling it out with Pyro (is that his name?), krys, ally and i held hands and giggled+squirmed because it was just so.. giggle worthy. hee. Ice vs. Fire.
Ice won! :D
yea man.

but i wish Gambit was in the movie.
i don't see why a big bird can be in the movie but not Gambit.
bah.

about the novel;
it's a great, great book!
i mean, the book as no dialogues with those inverted commas at all! and it's thick! AND it's just so interesting!
so heart tugging.
it's different la.

The Forever 21 opening was blah. as in, it was crowded with people and the things were a little Topshop-ish, only a lil cheaper. though still over-priced. ah, but what to do? it's not everyday where we can go to Thailand to shop for cheap, where their accessories are probably as good as Topshop's because Topshop is memang quite a con job. (con job because their accessories are only worth less than 10 bucks but they over-charge you by over a lot of %)

but there's one or two items in Topshop that's kinda worth it la, i guess. so, whateverla. :)

have a good night, every buddy!

the sort-of end.

yea man!
the end to my mid term exams! :D
nyahaha.
well, it's not officially over la, but c'mon, tomorrow's the last paper and it's Physical Education. *gives you look*

here's a short excerp from a conversation i had with krys on the phone today:

Julia: Eh, don't study [PJK] you know.
Krys: Yeah, okay. You also.

eh heh heh heh.

i'm kinda tired of plain baby - Ts.
i want something cuter!
something fresh!

i saw a blue baby-t from World of Cartoons.
it was blue.
and it had a picture of Baby Sylvester on it.
*squeezes eyes shut*
i liked it.
i was gonna buy it.
i tried it on.
and it looked weird.
it was one not-nice-on-julia baby-t, yo.
the cutting just wasn't right.
ah, well.

oh! i just just got a missed call from joel and so i called back lar.
he told me that he wanted to ask me a quick question.
"yeah, okay."
"can you sing to me the song that never ends?"
"er.." *starts singing* "this is the song that never ends........ er i don't know the rest."
"aiyah."

haha. he wanted to teach his lil nephew how to sing it.

this is a story of two friends, who had almost the same taste in stuff.
this caused them to have the same lycra top, the same necklace, the same shoes and the same handbag. one day, they decided to wear those stuff at the same time!

meet julia and lauranne.

LaurJu / JuAnne / LaurLia / JuLaur

meet their identical stuff.

Topshop spokes persons.

switch!

do we see a pattern here, ladies and gentlemen?

and then there were three. :)

my take.

"As happens sometimes, a moment settled and hovered and remained for much more than a moment. And sound stopped and movement stopped for much, much more than a moment. Then gradually time awakened again and moved sluggishly on." -John Steinbeck, "Of Mice And Men"

i think that quote is true.
ever felt the feeling of a suddenly having great week and it seems situations have really changed in a good way? and when the next week comes, when you wake up expecting something more, expecting the same things that were good last week to happen again, it doesn't.
the things that you thought changed didn't really change at all.
as if the change happened last week didn't last.
it's as if it stayed only for a moment.
and now you're back to your usual routine and all you have of that moment are the memories.

but you know what?
life goes on! :)
so go on and live life according to God's will for you. :)

good night, world!

kidney conversations.

hello all! :)

i was feeling really ill last night.
it could've been caused by my lunch.
so anyway, after tossing and turning on my bed for quite a long time, i finally puked everything out. i felt so good after that. hee.

so the next morning (which is today), i went to school and the bottom part of my back (the hip level) really hurt. when i pointed out where the pain was coming from, someone said that was my kidneys.

and this is how my conversation with alya and krystle went during recess (or how i remember it).
but before that, here's a lil petunjuk.

green - ally
orange - krys
and
purple - julia.

"Hey, Al, do you think there's something wrong with my kidneys?"
"Maybe you have kidney stones."
"How can you have kidney stones when you pee all the time?"
"Maybe that's why I'm peeing so much."
"Haha. Good one. Does it hurt when you pee?"
"NO!"

hahaha.
i love them. :)

X!

helllooo! :)

i had a pretty eventful yesterday.
i went to watch the Asian X-Games for the first time! :D
i actually went to see the Yasutoko brothers (inline skaters), but i'm not sure if they were there. but they were there today, though! *big fat pouty frown*

actually, i'm not really interested to see the Yasutoko brothers anymore.
it's just cool to see "famous" atheletes like them them live.

what's cool is that you're watching that athlete do his / her event and then the next day there's a photo of the athlete competing in his / her event in the news, and you're, like, "hey, i was watching him / her do that event live!"

hehe.
okay i may seem quite syiok sendiri but cut me some slack.

goodbye! :)

say it to the eyes.

everything you do today will affect your future.
so when the day is over, you look back, and, was it worth it?

have you ever felt victimized? and if you have, did you feel selfish for feeling so because you realise that not everything is about you?
but then again no one cared to consider your feelings at first, so should you care to consider others'?

the answer is yes.

people make mistakes, that'a a given.
people get the wrong idea of things, that's normal.
people sometimes feel sorry for the things they have caused.
but sometimes, they get angry, too.
and most of the time, they don't have the right to feel so, anyway.

:O

i seem to have made a mistake in my last post.

One Tree Hill didn't get 900 000 votes like i said.
the 900 000++ votes was the total votes of all the shows competing. OTH got 44% of that 900 000++ votes.

heehee. sorry for the mistake, ya'll.

Lauranne and I took funny photos today. :D
will post them up when i get them from her.

Tree-Huggers indeedio!

whee hee hee hee hee
nyah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

the Save One Show campaign / poll thingy has a winner!
guess who won? i'll tell ya!

One Tree Hill! :D

*does a little twirl and dance*
there were over 900 000++ votes for OTH and i contribtued to that! :D haha. yes, thank you Laur, Jan and Ally-Poo for voting as well. woot!

here's an excerp of the article from E! Online (i've removed whatever unnecessary and stuff) --

The envelope please...

Fifth Place: What About Brian, 3%
Fourth Place: Everwood, 7%
Third Place: Supernatural, 14%
Runner-Up: Veronica Mars, 32%
And the Winner Is: One Tree Hill, 44%

Congratulations, you loyal Tree huggers!

(I should also mention that although you Veronica Mars fans may be heartbroken, I have stunning news to share with you on the third page that you must check out.)

Since so many of you voted this year--958,017 total to be exact--this should send a very clear message to the new CW network's chief, Dawn Ostroff, that One Tree Hill deserves to stick around. She's set to decide its fate in the next two weeks, before announcing the new CW schedule on May 18.

Still, to make absolutely sure she hears your OTH battle cry, I will be sending Ostroff a big ol' care package this week declaring One Tree Hill as the official Save One Show winner, along with my own letter of support and personal messages from you, the fans. So, if you want to tell Ostroff why OTH deserves to come back next season, please email your message to tvdiva@eonline.com.
